Byron Coy
      Word has been received of the death 
of Byron Coy, of Tacoma, Washington, 
native of Trafalgar.  He died in a Fort 
Lewis, Washington, hospital Saturday, 
May 26, after an illness of several months.
      Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
      The son of Gene Coy and Clara Green 
Miller, Mr. Coy was born October 3, 1919, 
at Trafalgar and was graduated from the 
Trafalgar High School.
      A veteran of the United States Army, 
he had served in all foreign areas during 
World War II and the Korean conflict before 
his retirement.  Mr. Coy left Trafalgar about 
25 years ago.
      His survivors are the widow, three sons, 
Scott Coy, Cloyd Coy, at home; Byron Coy 
Jr., with the United States Navy; three daughters, 
Miss Sandra Coy, Miss Bonnie Coy, and Mrs. 
Bryonnetta Greer, of Detroit, Michigan; the 
father of Nashville, Indiana, and the mother 
of 10431 Mack Ave., Apartment 1, Detroit, 14.
      Others remaining are two grandchildren 
and a large number of relatives in Johnson 
      Mr. Coy was a member of the Trafalgar 
Christian Church.
