GOETZ FUNERAL RITES
TO BE HELD FRIDAY
EDINBURG, March 16.—Funeral services for Jacob L. Goetz, age 69, whose death occurred at his home southwest of here Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock following an illness of three weeks, will be held at the Edinburg Christian church Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock.
He was born and reared in the community where he died having been a farmer his entire life. He was a devoted member of the English Lutheran church at St. John.
He is survived by two sons, Carl, of Columbus, Floyd, of Franklin, two daughters, Etta and Blanche Henry of Petersville; three brothers, John, of Columbus, George of Valparaiso, and James, of Nineveh; six sisters, Lizzie and Sarah Coffman, of Ninevah, Ella Royce, of Edinburg, Etta Wirey of Franklin, Emma Stillabower of Edinburg, and Mary Long of Indianapolis; an uncle, Adam Goetz of Columbus; five grandchildren and other relatives.

GOETZ FUNERAL HELD
ON FRIDAY MORNING
EDINBURG, March 17.—Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at 10:30 o’clock at the Edinburg Christian church for Jacob Goetz, 69 years old, who passed away at his home southwest of here Wednesday morning following a three weeks’ illness. Rev. T. E. Turney pastor the Christian church of Columbus, and Rev. J. I. Desendurger, pastor of the St. John church, conducted the service.
Miss Reba and Miss Ruth Coy sang favorite selections of the deceased. Flowers were carried by Miss Catherine Glasson, Miss Naomi Whitesides, Miss Reba Wycoff, Mrs. Omar Allison, Mrs. Roberta Robinson, Mrs. Wade Ping and Mrs. Clarence Henry. The casket was carried by Omar Allison, Clarence Allison, Wade Ping, H. C. Glassen, Albert Stillabower and Clarence Henry. Burial was made in Rest Haven cemetery.
