William Hardin services Friday

William Leo Hardin, 39, Columbus, died Tuesday in his home.

Mr. Hardin was born October 9, 1936, near Nineveh and was the son of Clarence and Eva Smyser Hardin.

He was a 1954 graduate of Whiteland High School and served in the Marines for four years. He was also a member of Bethany United Presbyterian Church in Whiteland.

Mr. Hardin was a former employee of Rexham Corporation in Edinburg and Cummins Engine of Columbus.

Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hardin of Edinburg; son, Shawn Hardin of Edinburg; daughter, Melissa Ann Hardin of Edinburg and brother, Hugh Hardin of Edinburg.

Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Eskew Funeral Home in Edinburg with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. on Thursday.
