Ralph Huff, 80, of Columbus and former Edinburgh resident, died Friday night at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where he had undergone major surgery the first of April.
He had been a Johnson County farmer for 25 years before moving to Columbus where he was employed as an automobile salesman for Graham-Todd Company until his retirement in 1977.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at Reed and Jewell Funeral Home in Columbus by Rev. Harold E. Armstrong. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Huff was born in Bartholomew County Sept. 10, 1900, the son of Sylvester and Stella Nichols Huff. He married Tressa Snyder Sept. 26, 1923, and she survives. He was a member of First Christian Church in Columbus and Trafalgar Masonic Lodge.
Other survivors include a daughter, Janet Keller of Columbus route 3; two brothers, Ira Huff of Burney and Ora Huff of Franklin; four sisters, Mamie Dinn of Taylorsville, Florence Conner of Pendleton, and Ethel Snepp and Grace Bridges of Franklin, and three grandchildren.
