INDIANAPOLIS
William B. "Mac" McCaslin Sr.
   William B. "Mac" McCaslin Sr.,
62, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at
his Indianapolis residence.
   He was born July 8, 1937, in
Scott County. His parents were
Delmar    and    Mary    Lillian
(Ramsey) McCaslin. He married
Sherry (Moore) McCaslin in 1957
in Indianapolis. She survives.
   Other survivors include three
sons, William B. McCaslin Jr.,
Timothy Lee McCaslin Sr. and
Gary  Allen  McCaslin,   all  of
Indianapolis; three sisters, Mar-
garet Cheser of Spiceland and
Betty Lee Johnson and Ruth I.
Dudley, both of Greenfield, one
brother, Delmar Gene McCaslin
of New Castle; and eight grand-
children. He was preceded in
death by a son, Scott Joseph
McCaslin.
   He was employed as a plant 
manager for Citizens Coke & Gas 
in Indianapolisfor 40 years, retiring 
in 1996.
   The Rev. Keith Groves will con-
duct a service at 10 a.m. Tuesday
at   G.H.Herrmann Madison Avenue 
Funeral Home in Indianapolis. Friends 
may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the 
funeral home. Burial will be at Kent 
Cemetery in Kent.
