Janice Eileen Owens, 58, Edinburgh, died Wednesday at Bartholomew County Hospital, Columbus. She had been in failing health one year.

She was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Shelby County to Clifford and Leila (Bland) Hudson. Her father lives in Edinburgh.

She married Dale Owens Jan. 10, 1954. He survives.

Mrs. Owens was a former employee of Servamation Vending Co. She was a member of Calvary Christian Church, Edinburgh.

Surviving along with her husband are two sons and three daughters, Roger and Wayne Owens and Diann Allman, all of Edinburgh, Rheadon Burton of Hartsville and Wilma Pope of Indianapolis; a sister, Lois Taylor of Shelbyville, and eight grandchildren.

A service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, with the Revs. Steve Wilmot and Grover Myers officiating. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.

Janice Eileen Owens, 58, Edinburgh, died last Wednesday at the Bartholomew County Hospital. She had been in ill health for one year.

Services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home with the Revs. Steve Wilmot and Grover Myers officiating. Burial followed at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Born Sept. 4, 1926 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Clifford and Leila (Bland) Hudson. Her father, an Edinburgh resident, survives.

She married Dale Owens Jan. 10, 1954. He also survives.
