Mary E. Sheafer
      Edinburgh, Ind.  --  Mary E. Cobb Sheafer, 70, 
formerly of Indianapolis, died Wednesday at El Paso, 
Texas.  Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in 
Eskew Funeral Home here, where friends may call 
after 10 a.m. Friday.  She was a native of Edinburgh. 
She was a former co-owner of Lloyd’s Cleaner in 
Indianapolis and a retired finance office employee 
at Fort Benjamin Harrison.  Survivors include a 
daughter, Jacqueline Cramer; a sister, Georgia 
Ferguson, and a brother, Louis Cobb.

      Mary E. Sheafer, 70, of El Paso, Texas died 
there Wednesday, January 13 at the home of her 
daughter, Jacqueline M. Cramer.
      A former Edinburgh resident, she was a retired 
Civil Service finance department worker and at one 
time was co-owner of Lloyd’s Cleaners at Indianapolis.
      Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. 
Friday at Eskew Funeral Home.  Burial was at 
Rest Haven Cemetery.
      Mrs. Sheafer was born at Edinburgh July 24, 
1911, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Jane 
Cotton Cobb.
      Surviving with her daughter are a sister, Georgia 
M. Ferguson of Edinburgh; a brother, Louis Cobb of 
Indianapolis, and two grandchildren.
