  Mrs. Wheeler was
a life-long resident
of Johnson County
born April 26, 1885,
to the late Elliott
and Lucy Shipp Kerr.
She was married Feb.
1 , 1905, to Mr. Wh-
eeler who died Nov.
3, 1952.
  Survivors include
four children, Hub-
ert Wheeler of Las
Vegas, Nev., Marg-
aret Wheeler and
Virgil Wheeler both
of Edinburg, and
Kenneth Wheeler of
Wichita Falls, Tex-
as. Also surviving
are two grandchil-
dren and five great-
grandchildren.
  Mrs. Wheeler was
preceded in death
by four brothers.

EDINBURG — Myrtle Wheeler, 92, Edinburg, died Thursday at Bartholomew County Hospital after a long illness.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Lawrence Tedrow at Eskew Funeral Home in Edinburg. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Persons may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Mrs. Wheeler was born April 26, 1885, in Johnson County to the late Elliott and Lucy Ship Kerr. She was married Feb. 1, 1905, to Otto Wheeler who died Nov. 3, 1952.

Survivors include four children, Hubert Wheeler of Las Vegas, Nev., Margaret and Virgil Wheeler, both of Edinburg and Kenneth Wheeler of Wichita Falls, Texas; two grandchildren and five great-grand- children.

She was preceded in death by four brothers.
