Urias Feller was born in Portage County Ohio on Nov. 22 1838. He was the oldest son of Daniel and Esther Feller who were pioneers of Northeastern Ohio. His great grandfather Andreas Feller came to America from Germany in 1750. He was married to Anna Ulrich at Uniontown, Starke [sic] county, Ohio, Oct. 3rd, 1858 with whom he lived happily for more than fifty- one years. He removed with his family from the farm on which he was born in Ohio to Marshall county Indiana in March 1883.

He is the father of seven children, four sons and three daughters, the oldest of whom, Hattie, died on March 16, 1886. Mr. Feller became a member of the Brethren church and was elected Deacon in which position he served until his death which occurred at Plymouth, Indiana, on Wednesday, January 12th, 1910, at the age of 71 years, 1 month and 21 days.

He leaves surviving him his widow and six children, Franklin of Denver, Colo., Daniel of Chicago, Allen of Golden Colo., Samuel of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Emma Campbell of Langley, Washington and Laura of Plymouth, Ind.
