Cemetery is located in Lost River Twp, on Abel Hill Road.

My
second great grandparents, Samuel Jones Green and Catherine (Wininger)
Green and other family members are buried here. Samuel J Green deeded
one acre of land containing a family cemetery to Martin County June 10,
1878. James Green,Samuel's father,who died before 1850, was the
original owner of the land, and may be buried heee as well. Most buried
here are related in some manner.This cemetery, which rests atop a small
hill overlooking White River, was untended,
overgrown, and littered with fallen tree limbs when I photographed it May 9,
2011. Small wildflowers managed to bloom in parts of the
cemetery, seemingly a memorial to those who are resting here.
Earlier transcriptions have been referenced to provide a more complete
listing. Markers without a photograph either no longer exist or were
missed due to the overgrown state. The earliest recorded burial is 1840-Charlie TredwayLat 38° 33' 56" N Lon -86° 44' 55" W
