LaFaver Jacob B. LaFaver or as some spell it LeFevre. Jacob's parents were Abraham and Mary Magedeline Brock LaFaver. Mary was the daughter of George Brock who was one of the founders of Salem, In. Abraham, which is a name passed down for many generations, is a brother to Andrew, the patriarch of the LeFevre Gospel Singers. Jacob was a Methodist Circuit Rider.

Leitzman
Birtie was born 11 May 1876 in Putnam County. She married Charles Henrey Leitzman of Martinsville 10 March 1901, and died 6 March 1952 in Martinsville, Morgan County. We believe that the child she is holding in the photo is my mother, Helen Kay Alley. The young boy at her side is James Alley. The others are uncertain, but may include Byrle Alley.
