Obituary of James Matthews

  James Matthews was born in Cornwall, Eng. Oct. 10, 1820.  He came to Am. When a boy and settled in Wayne Co., Pa.  In 1879 he moved with his family to Albion, He died Aug. 19, 1893, aged 72 years, 10 Mo., and 9 days. He leaves his wife and two sons, Daniel G. and James, both married and in business in Albion.

(Dan was station agent in Albion many years and James was a harness maker)
