The Genealogy Room has the 1874 Illustrated Atlas of Noble County. This atlas contains sketches of many Noble County sites. Here is an index of the sketches. Also the atlas has plat maps with the owners names. We can make copies of the sketches and the plat map. In order to find your ancestor on the plat map we will need to know the township where they own land in 1874.
Martha's Corner A special section of our web site written by Martha Bushong. Martha writes the Pioneer Echoes for the Historical Society plus she has published many books on Noble County records. She has decided to write a piece every week for our website. Her first article is about the persons from Noble County who rode the train to Philadelphia for the country's centennial celebration. Newspaper Clippings: Martha Bushong is going through her collection of old newspaper clippings and transcribing articles for us. Also T. C. Holcomb (the former Noble County Historian) has many scrapbooks with newspaper articles that are being transcribed.
