Morocco Courier Obituary Abstractions 1929-1952

William Otterbein Thompson, son of Abel and Susanna (McFarland) Thompson b near Greehill, Warren Co. IN August 7, 1859. Moved to Washington Twp in 1855. Became at 12 member of the North Timber United Brethern Church. In 1888 he united with the Prairie Vine Baptist Church. Organizer of a Mission Sunday School at the Decker School House, which later led to the development of the Beaver City Baptist Church. Taught at the Bridgeman school for two terms. m September 30, 1880 Cynthia Jane Best. 5 sons. John Abel, who d in infancy. Walter, at home, Harvey of Columbus, Ohio, Albert of Kokomo and James, who resides at the old home farm. Moved to Goodland in 1898 and to Franklin, IN in 1901. Returned to Morocco fall of 1907.
