	View of the Oakland Cemetery sign. This cemetery makes me happy because there doesn't appear to have been very much vandalism. It's a beautiful place and very well cared for- thanks to whoever is responsible for it!
	Cytha Ross Died Nov. 12, 1880 Aged 80 Y. 11 M. 13 D. Cynthia Ross is the mother of James and Stephen Ross, stones pictured below. She is the wife of Philip Ross, who is buried in Harshbarger Cemetery.
	Farley Henry - Sarrah 1861 - 1855 Henry and Sarrah Farley are the parents of Mary Farley Ross pictured below.
	Swank James W. 1849 - 1902 Margaret Ross 1852 - 1923 Margaret Ross-Swank was the daughter of Harrison and Nancy Clouse-Ross.
	Humphreys Sarah Jane Aug. 17, 1858 July 12, 1928 Samuel June 15, 1851 Nov. 17, 1927 The farm that Samuel and Sarah lived on for much of their married life is right down the road from Oakland Cemetery, maybe a half a mile.
	Humphreys Mary M. [Humphreys] Dau. of S. & S. Humphries [misspelling] Died Aug. 29, 1897 Aged 11 M. Samuel and Sarah above are her parents. John and Fred below are her brothers. She died of cholera infantum.
	Humphreys John E. Humphreys 1877- 19 Ina M. Humphreys 1879-19 John is the son of Samuel and Sarah Humphreys, brother of Mary and Fred. Ina is his wife. Lewis and Mildred below are their children.
	Humphreys Mildred Humphreys Lewis Humphreys 1896-1897 Mildred and Lewis are the children of John and Ina Humphreys. Lewis died around the same time Mary Humphreys, his aunt, did. Did he die from cholera infantum as she did?
	Humphreys Mary E. Ross 1882-1867 Fredrick 1879-1964 Fredrick is the son of Samuel and Sarah Humphreys, brother to Mary and John. Mary E. Ross is the daughter of James S. Ross and Mary E. Farley-Ross, below.
	Ross Mary E. Farley 1844-1912 James S. [Shelby] 1838-1913 James and Mary are the parents of Mary E. Ross, above. James's father, Philip, died eight months after he was born. Philip Ross was buried in Harshbarger Cemetery outside Crawfordsville and James's mother, Cynthia Crouch-Ross, is buried in Oakland. Below is James's brother, Stephen.
	Ross Stephen Ross June 21, 1834 - Margaret E. his wife Sept. 28, 1845 Jan. 3, 1904 Stephen is brother of James, son of Cynthia. Stephen died in Monticello and was buried there in Riverview Cemetery with his second wife, Mary Nicholas.
	Sutton Edith E. [Humphreys] 1900-1991 Marion F. 1896-1976 Edith is the daughter of Fredrick and Mary E. Ross-Humphreys.
