This rare kind of grave marker is made out of metal, therefore it is impervious to the years of weather and vandalism that has nearly destroyed 2/3 of the stones in this beautiful cemetery. In another 100 years this will probably be the only legible stone in the cemetery. This photo also gives a glimpse of what the countryside around the cemetery looks like.
