The Chester Cemetery is located at 75000 South Grand Boulevard in Ross Township in Lake County, Indiana (Indiana Route 51 one mile north of US Highway 30 on the west side of the street). The cemetery is also known as Ainsworth Cemetery. The cemetery grounds are well kept, but many of the stones are broken and difficult to read. We are very grateful to the ones who previously read this cemetery several years ago. It was recently updated in September 1992 by Patti and Joe Duggins for the Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society.
