Every Name Index to Fuller Cemetery (containing 69 records)
Fuller Cemetery is located on 169th Avenue, approximately 50 to 100 feet west of Sheffield Avenue in West Creek Township, Lake County, Indiana.
In the book Lake County 1884, Timothy Ball writes (p. 138) “A very retired quiet resting-place over West Creek on the Fuller place, where the dead of that neighborhood have been buried. Not fenced by itself nor deeded trustees, but well cared for.”
In June of 1956, Avis Byrant Brown and Frances Helmerick McBride found 72 years after Ball's account that the cemetery was enclosed with a wire fence and a gate, the grass mowed, the graves neatly groomed, and all the stones and monuments erect. In 1992, Ed and Doris Brozak of the Northwest Indiana Genealogical Society read the cemetery again. They found the cemetery well kept and cared for by the West Creek Township Trustee’s Office.
This is only an every name index. If you would like further information about any of your ancestors that are buried in this cemetery, please refer to our Lookup Research Request Policy. The full cemetery index, containing additional information, can also purchased (see our Publications webpage) or accessed at several Northwest Indiana libraries, as well as at several other genealogical Libraries.
