Our Activities

The Olde Towne Chapter is less than a year old, yet its members are involved
in many activities, with plans for more! This page will showcase those activities.

In 2012 the chapter got off to a great start with veterans' activities, collecting
labels and boxtops for Tamassee School, and beginning the process of putting
together a chapter cookbook. The chapter will continue those activities in 2013,
adding to them: the maintenance of Olde Towne Cemetery in Clay Township in
Cass County, and cleaning up around the DAR marker placed near the site of
the Battle of Olde Towne by the original Olde Towne Chapter in 1922.

Another goal of the chapter is to identify and mark the graves of the
Revolutionary War soldiers buried in Cass County, from whom some of its
members descend.

A diverse group of women of all ages, Olde Towne Chapter will have an activity
of interest for everyone!

Check back for photos and updates of these activities!
