Don Counts, a member of the Ohio Valley Chapter, INSSAR attended a ceremony for the members
of the 163rd Field Artillery, National Guard, Evansville, In. The Unit was being honored at The Centre in
Evansville after the Units second assignment to Iraq. Don Counts, also a member of the
Patriot Guard is shown here holding a Certificate and U.S. Flag to be presented to the 163rd.

Governors Council For People With Disabilities.

J. D. Strouth was deployed February 16-17, 2009 through Baptist Relief to Ohio County, Ky.
on a chain saw crew to help clean downed trees and limbs created by the late January, 2009
ice storm that devastated most Kentucky Counties.
J. D. reports that as he was not certified as a chain saw operator, he was pushed up to a higher job.
The higher job carried the job title of Puller. A Puller was the person assigned the very important job of
dragging the limbs to the burn pile. --------- Thank you J. D. for a job Well Done!!

Compatriot Chris Myers did the ultimate in Community Service when he went to Indianapolis and
donated bone marrow. The recipient was an unknown 60 year old male with refractory anemia.

Ladies Aux. member,were potraying William Prince & Elizabeth Prince
William Prince, a Revolutionary War Captain in the SC Militia, was the founder of Princeton, Ky.
This Historical Ghost Walk was held in the city cemetery, (Cedar Hill) and was based
on some of the historical people who were instrumental in the building of Princeton
The Ghost Walk was a fundraiser for the Caldwell Co., Ky. Historical Society.
