Although it may sound an unusual source to research...Have you ever thought of any of yourself as being a descendant of one of the many tragedies in history such as the wreck of the Titanic?
Either of these cases is not as far fetched as it may seem.
The Hindenburg was most comprised of Germans and many of our ancestors were German.
There were around 700 survivors of the Titanic
For that matter, are you descended from any of the passengers that came over on the Mayflower?? Not a tragedy event perhaps, however, many of them did perish later.
