Freemasonry is a charitable and educational society, dedicated to morality, mutual aid, charity, leadership, religious toleration and political freedom. Although I don't know or pretend to know all the different categories/levels of Masons among our ancestors.. I am going to be listing known members here as I find them along with the county they were known to have resided in. Much of this info is gleaned from the Owen County History book, but if I find any with a year or exact lodge I will list that. If you have anyone to add, please submit them. Most all of these are from Owen County, so as soon as some are submitted from Morgan/Putnam county I will add pages for those. NOT ALL TOWNSHIPS HAVE ENTRIES; I will get them added as soon as I have some.
