Mrs. Cora Keck Bahr, 74, of 922 E. Blackford Avenue, Evansville, a member of a prominent Posey county family and a Posey county native, died Thursday (21 Feb 1957) afternoon in Comfort Nursing Home in Evansville.


The body is at Boone Funeral Home in Evansville and the funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Boone Chapel.  The body will be cremated.


Surviving are a daughter, Miss Margaret Bahr, Evansville, and a brother, Oscar D. Keck, Mr. Vernon.


Mrs. Bahr was a daughter of Peter Keck and Amelia Doerr Keck.  She was a school teacher in Marrs township as a young woman and later taught in Evansville schools.  Her husband Charles Bahr, a Louisville & Nashville Railroad conductor died a number of years ago.
