PRINCETON - Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at the Nazarene Church in Mackey for Joseph C. Beadles, 67, who died at 9:05 a.m. Friday at his home on 601 South Seminary, after several months illness.  Burial was in New Liberty Cemetery in Velpen, In.


Mr. Beadles was born in Dubois County, March 26, 1897 and resided in Princeton since 1950, moving here from Illinois.  He was a retired section foreman for Southern Railroad and was a member of Nazarene Church of Mackey and Chapter No. 5, Retired Railroad men.


Survivors include his wife, Marie C., seven sons, Ruben, B, Daniel D. Samuel E all of Princeton, Robert J of Patoka, William J and Rudolph of Ellery, Ill., and Wallace J. of Mt. Carmel, Ill; one sister Mrs. Ruby Benton of Clarksville, Tenn; 16 grandchildren.


Wright and Kendall Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
