Mary Beuligmann, 88, formerly of Poseyville, died Friday, April 28, 1989, in Carmel, where she had been living.


She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Quilting Club and the Women's Society.  She also was a member of Poseyville Senior Citizens and Posey County Extension Homemakers Club.


Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Terry of Carmel, Catherine Shappard of Vincennes, and Margaret Brumleve of Bloomington; three step-daughters, Helen Nurrenbern of Mt. Vernon, Doly Butler of Wadesville and Ceclia Beuligmann of Chanute, Ks., three sons, Norbert Riester of Austin,  Tx, James Reister of Noblesville and Vincent Riester of Thorntown; two stepsons, Henry Joe Beuligmann Jr of Poseyville and Gene Beuligmann of Mount Carmel, Il; a sister, Margaret Blake of Mount Carmel, 50 grandchildren and 65 great grandchildren.


Services were Tuesday at St. Francis Catholic Church, with burial in St. John's Cemetery in Washington.
