Gottlieb E Grabert 58, energetic farmer
residing on R. R. 1, Mt.Vernon, died suddenly at his home at Monday (16 Jan 1956) after feeding his livestock.
A chronic coronary condition resulted in his death. Mr. Grabert had been treated for the ailment for several years.
Member of a prominent, respected South Posey county family, the
deceased had spent his entire life in the Mt.Vernon community. He was a son of Fritz Grabert and Louisa K. WillmanGrabert.
The body is at the Short-Niehaus Funeral
Home. It will remain there through the funeral service set for Thursday at Short-Niehaus
chapel. Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery. The officiating
clergyman will be Rev. August E. Binder, pastor of Trinity Evangelical and
Mr. Grabert had been a member of TrinityChurch since boyhood.
