Mrs. Maurine E. Hancock, 49, wife of Homer Hancock, died at today at her home at 527 W. Second street. She had been ill for four years
and critically ill for the last six months.
She was a native of Emma, Ill., a daughter of Ranklin
and Sarah A Franklin Chastain.
Her church affiliation was with the Mt.VernonChurch of the Nazarene.
The body is at the Weisinger Funeral
Home where friends may call after this evening.
Rev. Ernest E. Hopper, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene will
conduct the funeral service at Saturday in the Weisinger
chapel. Burial will be in Bellefontaine cemetery.

Junction City, Ill; a son, James M. Hancock. U. S. Air Force, Chanute Field,
Ill; three grandchildren; the father, Ranklin
Chastain, Emma, Ill; four sisters, Mrs. Virgil Yeida,
Mt. Vernon, Mrs. CletaIndell,
Chicago, Mrs. Zola Driggers, Grayville.; and Mrs. Lovenia Darnell, Evansville, and a brother, George A
Chastain, Mt. Vernon.
