Age 53.  A native of Marrs township, died at 10:20 a.m. today at his home at 2464 W Virginia street in Evansville.  A former trucker, he suffered a head injury in a traffic accident 13 years ago and a brain tumor developed.


The body is at the Alexander Funeral Home in Evansville and may be viewed there by friends after 6 p.m. today.  Funeral arrangements had not been completed early this afternoon.  (Buried in Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville, IN.)


Surviving are the wife, nee Lula Williams, a native of Marrs; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin Moore, Evansville; two sons, Alfred and Leroy, Evansville; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. William Ernst, Mrs. William Korff and Mrs. Albert Boerner, all of Evansville and two brothers, Raymond, and Oscar.
