Mrs. Anna Dunn Phillips 95, widow of Elisha H.
Phillips, a representative of two pioneer Posey county families. and the head of five generations, died at Sunday (23 May 1954) at the Oakland City, Ind. Hospital. She would
have been 96 years old on the coming June 22.
Mrs. Phillips had been acutely ill less than a week. She entered the
hospital from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Zillah Nelson, At Winslow, Ind., where she had resided for the last 20
years. Mr. Phillips (her husband) in the Farmersville vicinity died in

Phillips is at the Weisinger Funeral Home in Mt.Vernon and will remain there through the funeral
service to be conducted at Wednesday in the Weisinger
chapel. Elder Charles Fleener, Evansville, of the PrimitiveBaptistChurch, will officiate. Mrs. Phillips was
a member of the BethelPrimitiveBaptistChurch at Farmersville. Burial will be in
