Edward A. Strupp, 74, a well known
farmer on R. R. 1, Mt.Vernon, died at Saturday (16 Mar 1957) at BoehneHospital in Vanderburgh county
where he had been a patient for a few days.
A native of Vanderburgh county, the
deceased had resided east of Mt.Vernon for almost a half century.
The body is at Alexander Funeral Home in Evansville.
Rev. August E. Binder, pastor Trinity Evangelical and Reformed
Church in Mt.Vernon of which Mr. Strupp
was a member, will conduct the funeral service in Alexander chapel at Tuesday. Burial will be in Salem
Evangelical and Reformed Church cemetery in Marrstownship.

sons, Edward A. Jr., Mt. Vernon, and Edgar, at home; seven grandchildren and
one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Montgomery, Evansville, and Mrs.
Elsie Farmer, California and three brothers, Oscar, Louis and Walter, all of
