MOUNT VERNON HIGH SCHOOL 1896 -1929

SMITH   Lynn Township 1851 A builder who had some knowledge of Gothic style designed the entrance and end windows.  The roof pitch and the brackets show the knowledge of the Italianate style.

SPENCER   Point Township 1887 The entrance and pediment show some Greek Revival influence.
