Eliza Ann Royer Birth Transcript

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
This is to certify that Mrs. Elizabeth Royer Chambers personally appeared before me and made oath that the following facts as regards her sister, Mrs. Eliza Ann Royer Blocher, are correct and true as to her age, birth place, etc. She also exhibited the old family Bible which gives the family records, description of the Bible is as follows:
The Bible was published by the New York Bible Society, bearing the date of 1872. Type (Pica Ref., Imperial Octavo.) The Bible is a large one weighing about eight pounds and shows it is quite worn. However, all the leaves with the exception of one are intact. Under the heading of Births the following record is recorded:
"Eliza Ann Royer was born on the 12th day of July A.D. 1871." The place of the birth of Eliza Ann Royer Blocher is not recorded in the Bible. I am Six years older than my sister Eliza. She was born near Bartonia, Randolph Co., Indiana.
