There are only two lasting requests we can give our children, one is roots; the other, wings.  - - anonymous.

MEMBERSHIP 

Membership is open to any interested individual or organization. Your membership will help support and preserve your local Starke County family history.

Dues are payable in December for the year starting January 1. Membership cards are sent upon receipt of dues. Life memberships are also available for $150.

ANCESTOR FILE

All members are encouraged to submit a copy of their ancestor chart with their Starke County surnames so we can better aid you in your research and be able to identify connections to your family lines.

Members are also encouraged to submit 3x5 cards for each ancestor to add to our card file. We check the file to help connect families researching the same lines.

Please include:

· Name of ancestor

· Place/date of event

· Children/wife/parents

· Name of submitter, address, phone or e-mail address

· Date the card was prepared.
