James Henry Grice.
James Henry Grice died last evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nellie Matthews, 1133 West McCartney street, after an illness of three months. Had he lived until Christmas, his birtthday, he would have been 72 years of age. He was born in Virginia and had lived most of his life in the vicinity of Pokagon, Mich. He is survived by his wife, who is at their home in Pokagon; three daughters, Mrs. Matthews, Mrs. Mary Pontas, of Buchanan, Mich., and Mrs. Jane Maddron, of Niles, Mich.; and six sons, Henry, John P. and Jesse Grice, of South Bend; David, of Buchanan, and Harry and Newton, of South Dakota. The funeral arrangements have not been made.
Mrs. Lizie Webster.
Mrs. Lizzie Webster, of Kankakee, Ill., died
at the home of her brother, Floyd Hodson, 727 South Fellows
street, last night after an illness of 18 months with
consumption, aged 24 years. Mrs. Webster was born in
Elkhart, Ind. The funeral arrangements have not as yet been
made.
