Mary Farkas
Mrs.
Mary Farkas, 19590 Paxson Dr. N., died at 10:05 p.m. Friday
in her residence after a brief illness. She was born in Hungary
on Jan. 30, 1889, and had lived in South Bend 50 years, coming
from Hungary. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Moon
of South Bend, and Mrs. Emma Hartman of New Carlislee; a
son, Andrew Fuze of South Bend; two brothers, Paul and
Louis Nagy, and two sisters, Mrs. Rose Papoi and
Mrs. Anna Gerencser, all of South Bend. Friends may call
after 7 p.m. today in the Nemeth Funeral Home. Services will be
at 10 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church with Rev.
Clement H. Funke, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland
Cemetery.
Note: Mary Farkas, daughter to Frank
and Rosalia (Kolesar) Nagy, married Alexander Farkas as a
widower; her first husband was Andrew George Fuzy.
