Eleanore R. Mikusak

Eleanore R. Mikusak, 76, of S. Grove St., Argos, Indiana, died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday in the Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth, Indiana. Mrs. Mikusak was born on February 1, 1923, in Mishawaka and had lived in the Michiana area most of her life.

 

She was married on October 6, 1945 in South Bend, as Eleanore R. Simmons, to Anthony M. Mikusak who preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Peterson of Dallas, Texas; two sons, Anthony M. (Carol) Mikusak of Argos, and Kirk L. (Pam) Mikusak of South Bend; five grandchildren: Kirsten Peterson, Michael Peterson, Melissa Mikusak, Jennifer Mikusak and Paul Mikusak; four great-grandchildren: Diante Peterson, Eric Mikusak, Jeanette Mikusak, Nikolaus Mikusak; one sister, Phyllis Rupert of Lakeville and one brother, Lyle E. Simmons of Elkhart. A sister, Margaret Weaver preceded Mrs. Mikusak in death.

 

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 1827 E. Ireland Road, South Bend. Family and friends may call one hour before services, in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 2410 N. Grape Road, Suite 5A, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
