HARVEY SERVICES PLANNED FRIDAY-
Funeral services for Kenneth Harvey, 66, who died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mercy hospital, Elwood, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Saturday will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Copher and Fesler Funeral home, Elwood. Rev. John Atkins will officiate and burial will be in Aroma cemetery. The body is lying in state at the funeral home.
The accident occurred on state road 37, four miles south of Elwood, in a 300 yard stretch of the highway falling inside Tipton county. Killed in the accident was Norman Moser, 51, football and baseball coach at New Haven high school. Allen Eugene Riedel, 17, sustained fatal injuries in the crash.
Born December 21, 1895 in the home where he lived, he was the son of Dayton R. and Susan (Faust) Harvey. His wife was Mildred Moore. A farmer, he was a member of Aroma Methodist church and Elwood Elks lodge. Surviving are the widow, three sons, Charles Robert, of Fairland; Mac Edwin, of Orestes, and Kenny Kay, at home, and five grandchildren.
