Everett C. Johnson-
Frankton, Ind.- Everett C. Johnson, 86, 1001 Sigler St., Frankton, died Tuesday in Elwood. Born January 16, 1909, in Yorktown, he was the son of Frank M. and Clara Parkinson Johnson. He was married March 14, 1937, to Ethel Pflueger. She preceded him in death September 13, 1992. He graduated from Yorktown High Schoool and was a licensed barber who worked out of his home for 23 years. He also retired in 1971 from Delco Remy after 38 years of employment. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 662 and the Frankton Masonic Lodge 607, for which he received a 50 year pin.
Surviving are two daughters, [still living]; three sons, [two still living] John H. Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada; a sister [still living]; 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carroll Johnson, Adrian Johnson, Martin Johnson and one daughter, Betty Smith (born Miller.)
A memorial service will be at 11 am Saturday at Harper & Dunnichay Funeral Home in Frankton with the Rev. Al Covell
officiating. Burial will be in the K of P- IOOF Cemetery in Frankton. A Masonic service will begin at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
