George PfluegerINJURY PROVES FATAL-
George Pflueger Dies at Indianapolis Hospital Wednesday, [Marion county, 1923.]
George Pflueger, 50, of the Atlanta community, died at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis yesterday afternoon of injuries he sustained in a runaway accident at his home on the afternoon of May 7. Pflueger was preparing to do some plowing in his garden when the horse frightened and ran away, throwing him against the plow, causing internal injuries.
The hemorrhages from which he had been suffering were checked after he was taken to the hospital and for the past two weeks there were indications favorable to his recovery. Then he suffered a relapse and a renewal of the hemorrhages caused death.
Mr. Pflueger is survived by the widow and two daughters. The family resided in the Hobbs neighborhood before their removal to near Atlanta. The funeral services will be conducted at Atlanta Friday, [Hamilton county.]
