Look Up Volunteers

The following people have volunteered to do Lookups in reference material they own or have access to. It is important to note this is a volunteer activity. Your kindness, patience and gratitude will go a long way in helping make this lookup service a success.

Please follow the simple rules below for requesting a lookup from our volunteers:

  1. Subject of Email: Please type "Unknown County Lookup" in the subject line of your email.
  2. One specific individual per request.
  3. One request per day.
  4. State known spelling of full name (In parentheses give any common mispellings or nick names)
  5. State any known dates, spouses, or parents concerning this person.
  6. State the source in which you are wanting the lookup. For example, death index, birth index, etc.

   Cheryl Parker has graciously volunteered to do lookups in the following resources:

Indiana WPA Marriage Indexes, 1850-1920. Remember dates vary between counties.

Indiana Marriage Indexes, 1851-1900. Remember dates vary between counties and some counties are not in the WPA Index.

Indiana WPA Birth Indexes, 1882-1920

Indiana WPA Death Indexes, 1882-1920

Special Note: Cheryl receives a lot of requests for the above named resources. Please remember to check the dates that the indexes cover and read the rules for requesting lookups before making your request!
