Young Girl Dies in State Line Neighborhood
Report Received April 23 -- Miss LUCY VESTAL, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Vestal, south of Jacksonville, died at her home Sunday morning at 6 o'clock of consumption. She has been in critical condition for some time. She was a very active member in her church work and the Christian Endeavors will miss their vice-president. Her funeral was held at the State Line Christian Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. Peters of Paris officiated. Burial was at the Spangler graveyard. Besides a host of dear friends and relatives, she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Vestal, and two brothers, Justin and James Vestal.
