I had to create a new blog - for some reason I can't access the old one, so I just haven't bothered posting here for months. Hope this will work.

OK, it seems to be working. Updates from the past few months that I can remember...

News-Banner obituaries are almost up to date on the Message Board. There are no plans to post older obituaries, unless someone with access to the old papers is willing to take it on. It would be nice, but with the Wells County Library's obituary index, minimal fee to photocopy them, and fast turnaround, it just doesn't make a lot of sense to put the time into it.

Nola Rains has been posting biographies (upon request) from the 1918 bio book. Several others have contributed bios to the project, too.

Other news: I haven't done much updating - other than the obits - for quite a while. I have a lot of stuff that's been sent in that needs to go online. I also have purchased some great stuff from ebay that just needs to be scanned and it will be ready to go.

My microfilm reader is now under the same roof and works (as far as I know), so at some point I should be able to catch up on the requests from there...some of which are, oh, about 18 months old.
