Our website host, Rootsweb, the free part of ancestry.com, was moved to a new server so you may notice that our website address has changed slightly. You should still be able to use old bookmarks, though. I had to fuss around a bit with the links on the main and "Good Stuff" pages because some images were not appearing. If you happen to notice any links or images NOT working properly on the site, please let me know.

In other news, I had a brainstorm the other day to research using my digital camera instead of a flatbed scanner for OCR (optical character recognition) -- thought it would be a LOT more difficult than it was. VoilĂ ! I will now attempt to send biographies from the 1903 book to my long backlog of requesters. The book is close to 600 pages, however; as usual, it will take some time to complete this project.

Today I posted the following bios from the 1903 bio book:

Biography of John W. Rinear
Biography of William Dunwiddie
Biography of William E. Bowman
Biography of Joseph Awkerman
Biography of James H. Keefer
Biography of George W. G. Miller (duplicate - whoops)
Biography of John G. Dettinger
Biography of William McDowell
