ROSE ANNA KREIGH: She was born on March 21, 1854 in Jefferson Township, Wells Co., IN. She married THEODORE MELCHING(son of Franz and Charlotte(Nagel) Melching) on June 15, 1873 in Wells Co., IN.[1] He was born on Aug. 17, 1851 in Sievershausen, Germany(Prussia). He came to America with his parents in 1854 and they first settled in Ashland Co., OH then they came to Wells Co., IN in 1870.[2] He died on April 10, 1935 in Ossian, Wells Co., IN and was buried in the Elhanan Cemetery.[3] She died in 1912 in Wells Co., IN. They had the following children:

SAMUEL KREIGH SR.: He was born on Oct. 16, 1826 in Schafferstown, Lancaster Co., PA.[5] He married MAGDALENE BECK(daughter of Mattheis and Rosina(Hoelle) Beck) on Jan. 17, 1850. She was born on Feb. 17, 1830 in Leidringen, Wurtenberg, Germany(Prussia). She died on Nov. 16, 1881 in Wells Co., IN. After Magdalene died Samuel married Hattie Archbold in 1888 and they moved to Michigan.[6] He died on July 7, 1905 in Poe, Allen Co., IN.[7] They had the following children:[8]

JOSEPH KREIGH SR.: He was born on Oct. 31, 1797 in Schafferstown, Lebanon Co(?)., PA. He married EVA MARIE KESSLER in 1824[10] in Elizabeth Township, Lancaster Co., PA. She was born in 1807 in PA and died in 1875 in Wells Co., IN.[11] This family moved to Stark Co., OH in 1837 and then moved to Wells Co., IN about 1845.[12] He died on Sept. 28, 1885 in Wells Co., IN. JOHN ELIAS KREIGH: He was born on Jan. 9, 1773 in Schafferstown, Lancaster Co., PA.[15] He married ANNA MARIA (POLLY) GIBBONS on Jan. 15, 1797. She was born in 1775 in Schafferstown, Lancaster Co., PA. He died in either 1825 or in 1873. They had the following children:[16]
