E. Faye Glessner
  E. Faye Dawson Glessner, 92, Montpelier, died at 11:20 a.m. Thursday
(Jan. 1, 1998) at Miller's Merry Manor, Hartford City.
  Mrs. Glessner was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, Wells
County, and the Five Points Home Economics Club. She was a homemaker.
  She was born April 15, 1906 in Jackson Township, Wells County, to Harrison
McIntire and Corina Made Brown Dawson. She married Paul Glessner Feb. 28,
1925 in Bluffton; her husband survives.
  Additional survivors include five sons, Jesse Glessner of Inglewood,
Calif., Dwight Glessner and Ralph Glessner, both of Montpelier, John Glessner
of Greenville, Ohio, and Bob Glessner of Huntington; two daughters, Peggy
Chehade of Montpelier and Nora Mae Henschen of Stuart, Fla.; four brothers,
Floyd A. Dawson of Warren, Charles Dawson of Fort Wayne, Al Dawson of Hartford
City, and Gene Dawson of Bluffton; a sister, Mabel Booher of Fort Wayne;
30 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by four sons, Bill Glessner, Ronald Glessner,
Jackie Glessner, and Roger Glessner; a daughter, Nettie Glessner; four brothers,
Harvey Dawson, Glenn Dawson, James Ray Dawson, and Dale Dawson; and four
sisters, Ethel Dawson, Iva Mae Miller, Fern Palmer, and Mary Roush.
  Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, Montpelier,
where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Rev. Ed Roller will officiate.
Burial will be at Asbury Cemetery, Wells County.
