KUNKEL

I am working on my family (Kunkel) genealogy. My 3rd great grandfather (Michael Kunkel) married an Anna Catherine Sentz/Seitz. She was his 2nd wife and had 9 children. I am from his first wife. But am checking everything out. My papers show her birth as 1791, York County, Pa., died in 1870, was buried in Murray Cemetery, Wells County, Indiana with her parents. Peter and Catherine Sentz/Seitz. I am trying to find where Michael Kunkel is buried. He was born 12 Feb 1784 in York County, Pa. and died in Crawford/Richland County in 1846. There is a Kunkel Cemetery in Crawford County, but records do not go back that far and the stones are unreadable. Your papers on the web do not show a Kunkel or Murray Cemetery. Could you possibly check if it would not take to long or send me an address where I might check. It is much appreciated. Thank you

JONES, NUTTER

I just started my search a couple of months ago. I started in Broken Bow Nebraska because that was where my grandmother was born. I was able to a lot of info back as far as my gg-grandparents. My gg-grandmother Mary Ellen Jones (married names 1st dagan. 2nd freel) was born in Wells County Indiana 8-1837. While at your site trying to see who i could contact re: her parents (i don't know there names) i saw the site for marriages through 1850. I found my gg-grandfathers marriage listed. The problem is the info from Nebraska said his 1st wife was Sarah Ann Nutter, your site has her listed as Mary Ann Nutter. They married 8-19-1860. Is the info at your site correct? I tend to think it is because the marriage took place in Wells co. If so then i would be happy to pass on the info i have on my gg-grandmother Mary. Also any ideas on how to fine the names of her parents? Thanks for a great site and any help you may be able to give......

CONNET

My line is from John Connet, who married a Rebecca Pickett. Their son, Pickett Price Connet married a Martha A. Thompson, In Bluffton, Wells Co, IN, 2 Mar 1851. Her parents, John Thompson and Rachael Sweazy Thompson, were also in Wells Co, per a census index in 1840 (John died in 1839, and Rachael is listed on the 1840 census index). Pickett & Martha had many children, and their daughter Clara was my gr grandmother. My second cousin had done some research on this years ago, but her info listed Pickett Price's wife as a Matilda J. Thompson. Indiana Marriage records on the Wells Co website list her name as Martha A.??? Anyway, my sisters & I would love to hear of other descendants of the Connet line.

A number of my historical photos were shot by Ashbaucher and I was wondering if anyone has dates assocated with his various logos (for want of a better word). Even a scan of a dated photography showing a logo would help.
