Carlow Boxing Club is up and running in St. Fiacc’s Hall
where husband and wife team Dermot and Mary Lawlor run the show.
They were formerly in Paulstown where they produced
several provincial and national champions including their own sons Keith
and Dermot, and later moved to Bagenalstown.
Mary was the Ireland's first ever female boxing referee.
