St. Patrick's Day parade in Carlow town was a great spectacle - lots of colour, flags and banners galore, huge community involvement and a mardi gras atmosphere as the town basked in glorious spring sunshine.	Read more about the parade in the Carlow Nationalist	It was the town’s first parade since 2003.	This year’s theme was Unity and Diversity. Shops and businesses throughout the town added to the atmosphere by decorating their windows.	The parade was televised on an RTÉ Six-One News special for the first time since 2000.
