Case of James Doyle of Monmore 1815

The information of James Doyle of Monmore in the Town Land of Monmore in the parish of Old Leighlin in the Barony of Idrone West in the County of Carlow

 Who being duly Sworn on the Holy Evangelists and examined deposeth and Saith That in the Month of March last informant Took a House and a piece of Ground in or about Two Acres, part of the Lands of Bannahagole in Said County, from John and Bridget Connoran of Bannhagole in said County Aforesaid of which House and ground said informant got Leagal [sic] and Lawfull possession of from the said John and Bridget Connoran who put Out the fire from said House and Delivered unto said informant Both Sod and Twigg of the aforesaid House and Ground. But the said John and Bridget Connoran forceably reentered said House House Again and Refused to give it up unto this Informant, the said John and Bridget Connoran Drove a mule off Said ground that Informant had at Grass and has ordered and Threatened said informant if he does not quit said Land.

Dep't. Bound in the Sum of 20 pounds Sterling to prosecute this information at the Next General Assizes for Carlow.
