Here is a great aerial photo of Graiguecullen (Maryborough St, Sleaty St, 98 Street, Croppy Graves). I reckon it was taken in the 1940's.

Tony's Take Away on the right of the picture is where I believe Begley's store used to be located.

Begley's Store it is the first building around the corner from Graigue it is named "The Bridge Take Away". The photo was taken July 1970.  The Begley family were here since the early 1800s and up to the 1960s... Austin Crowe's mother was one of the Begley family, he has often mentioned them in his writings. Sources: Maribeth E. Nolan (Facebook) and Michael Purcell.

Nolan House in Graiguecullen, taken in 1970, standing in front of what I believe was his boyhood home at No 17 Maryborough Street. We would like to know where this house was located and if anyone remembers it. Image provided by Maribeth E. Nolan Nov 2012.

Brennan's Bar c.2010

Carpenter Bros. Funeral Directors. They were located at two addresses in Carlow & Graiguecullen.  I suspect that the photo above was taken in Graiguecullen.
The addresses: 10, Barrack St. and  Marlborough Street Graiguecullen, Carlow
